My fiance and I are considering getting married in Vermont October 2008. Does anyone have any good ideas on where to stay, the ceremony, side trips, etc.?

We will be flying from Las Vegas and it will be just the two of us. I'm thinking probably a nondenominational minister. Money isn't a huge issue, although we don't want to get too extravagant.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I am looking at staying in the concierge at the Grand Floridian, and want the best that Walt Disney World has to offer, but my question is, is the Grand really the best? What about their concierge service? And is there anyway I can squeeze Disney for free tickets if I am buying an expensive room?

Me and my wife are in New York for New Years Eve. We have never been before and would love to experience the atmosphere in Times Square. I am a little worried about standing for hours in the cold and i am wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how best to experience it. i am not bothered about being in the center we just want to be part of the experience.

We are quite happy to pay out for a bar or restuarant that would have a view.

We are open to other suggestions to so any advise is appreciated.

We are staying at a hotel in NYC but it dosen't overlook the square.

college break will be coming up soon and I'll help him pay his way - but where to go for the most life for our budget? I've suggested alternate lifestyle retreats, monistraies, trips abroad, or just getting in his can and going. Any other ideas? I don't want his life to be wasted like mine was.

Visiting NYC from California. My wallet got lost/stolen, so I got no ID. I was able to check into a hostel, and the airline (Virgin America) confirmed that they would let me fly as long as I have my reservation slip, which I do. So here's the big problem: I got less than $50 left!! Are there any quick cash-paying jobs that I could find around the city (i.e. unloading some trucks, etc.)? Craigslist netted zilch so far... HELP!!!

Since Jefferson Parish Sheriff Harry Lee died, the JP sheriff's election has been pushed to November, and qualifying will re-open for this election. Of course, Harry would have won again in a landslide. Now it's a different ballgame.

One of the candidates has already filed suit to try to block the re-qualifying process, saying that the election should proceed as scheduled on the regular date, without re-opening the qualifying process.

The candidates who have qualified already will have to re-qualify. Do you think that's fair to the candidates already on the ballot? Opinions?

Any recommendations? It will just be the two of us (will need a witness). There are too many websites to search through, I am trying to negate the stress! Trying to keep costs down, but would also like tux and wedding gown rental included. Would also like to play 3 songs during ceremony.

OKAY, what should I do? Ride or Hike?
My initial plans were to hike the AT (Appalachian Trail) next year or ride accross the US on my new Harley FLHX. Or do both? I planned to start hiking in late Feb. and finish up in Aug.

Now, I take delivery on my cycle April 20th and I now want to ride from NC down to Austin, over to Vegas and up through Idaho and back accross. But I am torn between decisions.
Or I could just hike until April 20th and pick up the Bike and store it along the trail.(storage units) and keep hiking. and when I am done hiking I could ride just down to Austin anyway.
My life is growing short so I feel that next year is my final chance for fun.
