I have asked something similar to this in the past, but i didn't get any responses. My husband and I are trying to find something to do for our wedding anniversary, we don't want to spend a lot of money but would like to have fun. We can't do anything at home because we have a older nephew staying with us. We are from Tennessee so if anyone is from here and have any suggestions let me know, but if not we are able to travel.

I'm going to San Diego this Thursday. What should I wear there? I heard it has been cooler lately than other years. Should I be concerned if I only bring shorts and flip flops. I'm also from NJ/NY area and we wear lots of dark clothes to clubs. Would that be appropriate?

Also, What else is there to do other than Zoo&Shamu? Is Tijuana safe during the day? Going to LA will it be a long drive? How's public transportation? Sorry I burried you with questions but this is a questions place :-)

Any cool restaurants to try?

I hate to insult New York City as it surely has pluses, but I think at least nowadays that it's extremely overrated & overpopulated. It is NOT glamorous. Even the richest parts of manhattan (at least outside), aren't that impressive whatsoever. Glam? Try fake people. That's everywhere. There are many other spots in the U.S. that are better, and it's just polluted, dirty/grimey, and rushy.

Yes there are schools/business headquarters, etc, here, but not ONLY here, elsewhere too.

Why is New York City SO highly sought after, and why do people "aspire," to move to a place that's hell behind a name? You're paying MORE to live in a place where anything can happen (good or horrible). Yes you can make it, but you can also get killed, etc. You can also make it elsewhere.

It also THINKS its the place to be, but it isn't. It's like everyone who's from here THINKS that they're in some utopia, when they're literally walking in manure, and don't even realize it.

It's funny actually! lol

Is that area still a disaster zone from the hurricane, or has it gotten a lot better. I just want to be romantic and make it as enjoyable for the both of us as possible.

Thanks for any helpful answers!

I am going to be attending MMI next year and need to start planning on where I am going to move to. We will need a single family home with at least 3 bedrooms and a 2 car garage. I have a 2 yr old son and a puppy, so we need to find a good clean area. That should give you an idea of what we are looking for... let me know if you have any questions and I will expand.

I currently live in the D.C. area and my friend and I wanted to take a weekend trip somewhere we have never been. We were thinking to go to either Cleveland or Chicago, but we can't decide! What is there to do around these places, and how easy is it to get around with no car? Thanks!!

My husband has been relocated to Baton Rouge, LA. Neither of us care to live in the city, however. Is there anywhere I can go to get info on the towns surrounding Baton Rouge? Schools, community . . .? We are kind of making a blind move and I don't want to move into a bad area. Any help appreciated. Thanks

We recently found out that our wonderful babysitter has been an orphan since she was 14 years old. She has been out of the system and supporting herself since she was 18. She has a car, an apartment, and is attending the local community college but she is struggling to make ends meet. Are there any government programs? Are there any foundations? Scholarship programs? etc...
Thank you so much!!!!

My parents are taking my best friend and I to seattle. We are at an age of maturity, we are both 13. I want to know if it would be safe that we could go off by our selfs, if my parents knew where we were and could contact us. (cell phones.) Also are there any like night clubish places that we could go to dance and have fun?? (We are staying at the Downtown Sheraton)

How do we tell the real stuff from the fake stuff? Or do the fake stuff look like the real stuff but have a different brand, and thus, are easy to distinguish?
