Well, my girlfriend and I (age 17 and 19) are planning to go to LA Sometime in July/August and we were wondering what can we do there? Time: arrive there (from Stockton, Ca)early morning 6-7-8-9 am --> back home at 11pm. We dont know L.A. quite well, so somewhere far far from Lax airport might not work.. I heard the Santa monica and Venice beach or something like that sounds great.. Any other suggestions and details will be appreciated. Thanks

I know there is a ton of hotels there but should we make a reservation. We are only driving through and want somewhere really cheap to stay for one night. Thanks!

Could anyone tell me the best / cheapest place to park in NYC's Theatre District? We are going to see the musical Wicked, playing at the Gershwin Theatre.

1. New reggae/dancehall artist Collie Buddz was actually born in New Orleans.
2. DJ Khaled is actually from New Orleans.
3. 17th Ward native Lil' Wayne and 3rd Ward native Birdman MIGHT be bisexuals. (I say this because they have kissed each other on the lips on a few occasions, REGARDLESS of whether they love each other like father-and-son or not. I PERSONALLY think that that sh1t is gay!)
4. My sister in law is NOT from New Orleans.
5. The late Stanley "Tookie" Williams, the cofounder of the Westside Crips in South Los Angeles, was born in Los Angeles.
6. Master P has fallen off as far as rap is concerned. (I have said THIS because I have NOT seen him come out with anything in a long while except for that movie he did with the Nigerian dude Michael Blackson last year. I liked that movie, though!)
7. I've eaten crawfish before.
8. The original NBA Jazz team was ORIGINALLY in New Orleans before they went to that polygamous State of Utah.
9. Manny Fresh was raised on bread

I live about 15 minuates away from Detroit and would be willing to travel up to about an hour but with price of gas I'm not driving all the way across michigan.

I would appreciate any locations :)

My family would like to go to the mountains for a vacation (something very different from our very flat prairie), and we don't know whether to go to the Rockies, the Appalachians, or the Ozarks.

Pros and cons? Weather? Beauty? Activities? What say you? We've read about Jackson Hole, Yellowstone, and Durango in the Rockies; Silver Dollar City in the Ozarks; and Dollywood in the Appalachians. Can't seem to find much info beyond that.

(We are not camping; we want cabins or something).

I am going to vegas first time and have following questions:
1) I am staying at Treasure Island Hotel and have meeting at Ceasars Palace. Can anyone tell me the distance and mode of transportation between the 2? Someone told me its walking distance, while some saying that Not a good walk at night.

2) I want to play on 'Slot Machines' but have never used one so far. Can someone tell me if I need to have coins or if I can exchange my dollar bills at the casino and get some tokens etc?

Appreciate sincere advice please.

Rick

I wanna drive to Yellowstone park through south entrance, however, I searched a lot on mapquest and yahoo map, all they showed were driving through north entrance.

I think driving through south entrance is faster when I started from Logan or Salt Lake city, Utah.

Any hotel recommendation for this park. thanks!

Plz help.

gone to Disney, or busch gardens, or Universal, or any other huge theme park that most people in the world ache to go to?

I ask b/c I've been to Disney way too many times to count on both hands, Busch Gardens 5 times in the past month or so, and i work at Universal Studios (IOA) so I've been there so many times I get tired of it. And all these, I've never dished out a dime for them. (due to connections and so forth). So I'm curious. Do you have similar experiences? thanks!
