gone to Disney, or busch gardens, or Universal, or any other huge theme park that most people in the world ache to go to?
I ask b/c I've been to Disney way too many times to count on both hands, Busch Gardens 5 times in the past month or so, and i work at Universal Studios (IOA) so I've been there so many times I get tired of it. And all these, I've never dished out a dime for them. (due to connections and so forth). So I'm curious. Do you have similar experiences? thanks!

My point, Delilah, is that where most people in the world dream of going to, the inhabitants of Orlando have been there so many times, it starts to kind of get old. I find that rather interesting. However, if your not gonna answer the question with a plausible response then whats the point of wasting your pathetic time writing something down at all?

You are absolutely right - it does get real old, real quick! What most people in the world seem to aspire to is very commonplace to us. So much so, in fact, that us talking about it is somewhat akin to talking about our last trip to the grocery store.

I don't live in Orlando and I've gone to all the parks so many times, I've lost count. I go to Orlando several times a year just for fun and several times a year on business. Probably, on a normal year, 10 to 12, at the very least.
I can see how it would get old after a while, especially if you lived there and could go any time. But, I still end up having a good time when I go. I always take some family or friends and have a blast. So, I guess it has a lot to do with who you go with.
I'm not sure if I would want to live in Orlando, I don't think it would be as much fun then. But, I still love visiting.

I've been to Disney too many times to count - my mom has worked there since I was little, and my school got accepted to perform in EPCOT's holiday Candlelight Processional last year, and they give you two free tickets each night you perform - we did 4 nights.
Universal, I don't go there too often lately, as it is kinda expensive, but I have been there quite a few times, as we had seasonal passes one year. I went there a year or two ago for labor day and another time several years ago for halloween horror nights 13.
Busch Gardens, I've been... maybe 5 times? My dad's girlfriend bought us fun passes last year, but it is so far away we didn't go too often.
Sea world - Wow. We have fun passes this year, and my Dad has an annual for the free parking. I must've been there ten or fifteen times so far this year, and I went once last year on a field trip and a few times when I was little.
I've been to Disney quest, and their water parks a few times as well, because around the holidays, cast members of regular Disney parks get free passes to 'em.
Parks can get old for me, but they don't stay that way for long. I love 'em, because it's like, just being home. I know my way around everywhere. xD
BUT - I have no idea how tourists can stay here so long and spend ALLL DAY at parks. I'm there for a couple hours, and I actually start to get depressed. It's like - I really, really would rather not wait in line, because nothing is new to me - everything is really designed for first-time riders around here.

I first went to Disney World when I was less than a week old, and have been back about 50+ times since then. As a native, I (and probably most of you) feel like the parks are my own personal playground. I will not tolerate any shoving from rude South American tourists or line cutting, since it's on MY turf.
Hehe. :)
And Busch Gardens RULES! Way better than Universal could ever deam to be.

I've live in Orlando 27 Years. I rotate annual passes. One year it's Disney, the next Universal, and the next Seaworld/Busch Gardens. So I go once a month or so to whichever park I have passes for that year.

wow. i'm not even sure myself. every year for my birthday, my mom and i got to EPCOT, and that's been since i was around 20. went before that as a class field trip. I've been going to the Magic Kingom since it opened in 1971, but i haven't been in years. I've been to Animal Kingdom about 3 times. I worked in monorails for a few years so I went to the parks then. I've been to Busch Gardens and Sea World a few times each. I used to have passes to Universal/Islands so my family went there a lot. I'm still not tired of them. I love them all.

I have lived in Orlando 14 years and I used to work for Disney, so it does get old after time. If I'm going to go, it will be to see something new, like when a new ride opens.

I used to go to Disney every week on one of my days off... but when I had done every ride, show, and restaurant it got old. I haven't been to Universal or Seaworld many times because it's just not as fun.

It becomes old after a while. We go maybe twice a year. Same ole, same ole unless they have events or something else interesting going on.
