You shouldn't have any problems renting. However, there will be a fee that they will tack on to your total. Since you are under 25, the insurance rates to cover you is higher, so they charge a higher rate to cover the costs.


Since you are 21 you should have no problems. When you go to the websites or call, you should be able to find options for someone your age. When you select the box is when it will no to add on the extra fee.

Look around some companies will require you to be 25. Others will rent you are a car with restrictions and an extra charge for being under age. I know Budget will rent to you but charges a surcharge for being under 25

Try Toyota Rent A Car. They usually only require you to be 21 years old, and most do not charge any extra fees.

I rented a car online... I was flying to Orlando... and I was 19...
And I don't remember them asking me for my age...

some companies will...BUT you'll have to pay a lot more than someone who's 25+ because of the liability of you being so young.
