I know it's hot but it's not humid like a sauna like Houston is it? How high do the temps get & does being in the mountains help or hinder? In short is there a BIG difference between summertime weather in Houston & Denver or not?

Really, I have a friend who has to show the Americans around,
customers of the firm where she works, and every time she and him come to a door, he stop dead on the spot, and waits for her to open it. She is a small, tiny person; they are all big and wide. She once even stopped herself, and waited, out of interest, to see if he opens the door by himself. He never did, and they stood on like this for at least 8 minutes, until she opened it for him.
Aren't there any doors in their country, that they do not know how to open them?

I've been to Disney twice, but this will be my fiance's first visit. We are staying at a Disney Resort and will spend there 6 nights. I know that the parks can really worn you out so we are just visiting three of them. We'll spend a day on Downtown Disney and another day at the resort without going out. Any suggestions about attractions, things we should not miss, etc? Appreciate your comments!

I may be offered a job in Napa Valley, Calif., and I was wondering what it was like living there. I am interested in cost of living (food & rent), owning a car (taxes, parking) vs. public transportation (if any), crime rate, community culture, and general living experience. I heard it’s a wonderful place to live. I am just afraid I will be quick to move because I come from a high stress city.

If possible, send me Web sites with accurate information on Napa Valley (blogs are welcome too!) Thank you for your help!

In all the searching I've done before posting here,it seems like we'd have to stay a minimum of 2 nights. Here's my criteria:2 adults and 1 child(5 years old),1 night stay, preferably close enough to walk(we can walk several blocks but not like a mile;anything we have to drive and find parking in town is out) to Mallory Square and no more than $200 a night. Please try to be more specific than saying things like "Go to Expedia or Travelocity,etc.,etc." Also,if you can throw in your suggestions as to where to get good Key Lime Pie,that would be cool;I know that people's ideas of what's good are subjective but we can check out a few places. Also, can you post a direct link to the Hemingway House(so I can check out when they're open and cost of getting in) because I can't seem to find it for some reason!!! :( :(;that's where we'd like to go besides Mallory Square, especially my daughter since she loves cats. If you can think of anything else we can fit in on our second day, great!!!

It's truly my dream job and we're moving to Orlando next year. I have cashier (2 years), customer service (2 years), and seamstressing (3 years) experience. I'm not overly worried about the pay because I know the benefits they offer are incredible. I'm worried about the hours. It seems like you need to be available 24/7 to work for Disney and I like my 8 hours of sleep at night. Are the hours really crazy? Thank you!!

Does anyone know of the name and address of the mall that is off of I-87 or I-287. You can see it from the highway. It is very large. It also has a skating rink inside. I have been there before but cannot remember the name. We are traveling this weekend and would like to go there.

A friend lives in LA, a friend lives in San Fran. They want to meet for a weekend (driving distance). What is a good destination somewhere in the middle? But not Santa Barbara b/c the weekend we want, al the hotels are completely booked. Looking for pretty town on the coast with outdoor activities (light bike riding), quaint restaurants, a nice hotel. Any suggestions?
