Hot & dry. Heat ranges from the high 80°s to 100° in July, with almost no humidity. You will need to bring a lot of moisturizer and sunblock. And don't forget chapstick. And drink plenty of water.
In the mountains, depending on your elevation, expect it to be 15 to 20° cooler than in town.
Yes, there is a BIG difference between summertime Houston & summertime Denver.

I moved from San Antonio to Denver and was amazed at the differance. Colorado is sooooo beautiful and the temps are great -- it does get hot in Denver, but not like Texas. I would still pack a light sweatshirt or jacket, it has been to known to be a little cool in the summer months. I now live in a ski town and up here you only get a few days that you can actually be in shorts adn a t-shirt at night. There is usually a 20 degree differance from Denver to the mountains.

the temps are 70-100.Sometimes below 70 n sometimes above 100.i live in boulder colorado.its not humid at all.It doesnt rain much either. You should visit the mountains. The view is incredible.i luv the summer in boulder.I really hate denver though. You should go skiing but beware ski lessons r $$.also denvers a mile high above sea level so be prepared of altitude sickness. Symptoms are headaches, stomach sickness, dizziness, and insomnia so pack a doggie bag.jk but seriously. It might happen bout 6 hrs after you arrive n be gone in bout 2 days.

There is a pretty big difference, as Denver is in a high desert. We do get hot, but we lack the humidity. Much more pleasant!

I definitely have been residing in Denver for 3 years now and interior the summertime it has gotten fairly warm- as much as 109 ranges 2 summers in the past. that's extremely uncomfortable right here and you will experience the warmth greater because of the fact it is the mile intense city (Denver particularly is extremely greater advantageous to slightly over a mile into the sky). what's worse is while it gets so warm for the time of the day, it gets plenty less warm at night via mountains around the area. I definitely have been sick multiple situations right here via alter in climate actually in one day. i'm moving out of Denver next 300 and sixty 5 days because of the fact i definitely don't love it right here. the climate, the human beings, and the city don't have something to offer to myself and my relatives in any respect.

80s - 90s unless we have a hot spell , could get 100+' for a few days
but , no humidity maybe 15% and possable thunder storms , late affternoon, but they pass thru quickly, 30-40 degrees cooler in the evening

It is hot but very dry. The mountains are cooler as far as temps go but being that you are from Texas the bigger problem is the altitude. Its not so bad on the plains but just beware when you go up into the mountains... pace yourself. I have seen people who are used to much lower altitudes get bad cases of altitude sickness.

Hot, with afternoon thunderstorms. It is not humid though. Most nights it gets cool enough to be comfortable.
