I'm reserved at Rio & Paris hotels. Any particular room to request? I'm sure the strip is no place to be with kids at midnight, especially with drunks all over the place.

Has anyone visited Mount Diablo State Park, CA..? If so, can you provide me the activities, attractions etc. details..? We are planning to visit the park on Dec 31. Is there any snow probability in winter..? Do we have to carry snow chains..? What is the best accommodation option available nearby to stay overnight..? Any details are welcome.
