It's trustworthiness depends on the city that you're in. I hear the East Coast cities are more trustworthy than the West Coast ones. The San Francisco list is a bit more trustworthy than the Southern California one.

It will depend on the person who is selling/buring. Anyone can join craigslist. Same applies to ebay, or other similar sites. I have sold many things on craigslist, including my old car, and sofas. I haven't tried to buy anything yet.

Craigslist is trustworthy, not all people who post on there are.
Just like dealing with an E-bay poster.

No. I met this girl that sounded pretty cool over craigslist, but when we finally met up, she wanted $500 bucks! What the hell!!
