would like to stay in a cond or a suite there are 5 of us. Willing to drive some. Realize distance is involved-- looked at map as far as Williams Arizona, or that area or have looked even up in utah-- will be there for 8 days. Grand Canyon a must, Hoover Dam a must, a ghost town, caverns, red rock? Any help would be wonderful i'm at a loss and the travel agents aren't helping. We could fly into Las Vegas and out of Flagstaff I think.

Anybody from these states or who had gone to visit these places? What can you say about these places? the pros & cons of living here ( Rentals) taxes ( San Francisco is 8.5%). What are the souvenirs that I can take home when I visit you places? ( probably a miniature Space needle) Good places to eat, where to shop! I am a Filipino American & had stayed in California earlier this year. Presently I am in the Philippines. Am looking for a place to settle when I come back. I find nice reviews about Washington. Does it really rain there most of the time? I have a friend in the suburbs & asking me to stay with her family.

I want to ask for a week off from work and take a spontaneous(sp?) road trip to Florida w/ my hubby!

I have a family member who did exactly what I want to do a few years ago and they said Florida is a great place go in Oct. Really nice hotels for cheap, a whole lot of fun! Obviously October has passed by, but I will forget this craving in a few weeks and it will come back next year around September or October as it always does. But I want to be prepared (in a sense) when that craving comes back.
