I want to do the "sand ceremony" with my fiance and son at our wedding Dec. 2 -- is there anywhere in Arizona, East Valley area, that sells colored sand for this, like in white/black/other colors? I'd like to get a vase for pouring it into and displaying it -- could I find this stuff at a craft store maybe?

I'm going on a trip to Vegas, Yeah, Baby! And my uncle told me that I should cancel my reservations at the Fiesta Henderson for something much closer to the strip, possibly at "The Orleans" or something from i4vegas.com. Is it worth a $15 cancellation fee to go into the heart of Vegas?

I really want to travel, but I'll have do it alone because no I know is really willing to put forth the time and money. I was wondering if it's better to get a travel package with a tour, or maybe just go alone and stay in a hostel.

I grew up in norcal, but have lived in socal for 9 years. I've visited SF many times over the years. I personally feel that SF is much prettier and more convenient than LA, but at the same time, people in SF seem much more uptight, arrogant, introverted and overly proud. I can say that LA is superficial and very spread out, but the people seem generally more open, outgoing and fun than SF people. What's your opinion and why?
