I am a Canadian who is considering working there as a teacher. Miami appeals to me because, frankly, I love latino women: Cuban, Puerto Rican, Colombian, etc. (I am Northern European descent). Is this a good enough reason to live down there? Is it nice? Gracias amigas y amigos.

is any one of you a victim of 9/11 and would tell me something about it? there are so many anti americans in my class bitching about the victims and i wanna show them how nasty they are. what can i do? it really hurts hearing them talk about it like that cause i love the US and i´m really sorry for the victims of the WTC.

My husband and I are planning to go on vacation in September or October. We don't want to leave the USA. Califronia or florida it doesn't matter for us. We want to live on the beach so we can swim every day. We don't want crowd beaches. We don't care about night life of the place. But we don't want to go when it's hurricane season or cold ocean. PLEASE help to choose. I don't know much about vacations in the USA and I don't know what is the best place for that. We didn't have our honey moon 2,5 years ago we want to have it now.

I will be in Las Vegas at the end of December. I realize it will be New Years and expensive no doubt. I know if i stay off the strip a bit it gets cheaper. Does anyone know of good deals on hotels that they have found? Or any good campgrounds close to the strip?
