Below I put my favorite camping place near San Diego. I live in San Diego and sometimes when we want to "get away from it all" we pack up like we're really going camping and head up there. It's beautiful, on the cliffs above the ocean. Only about 30 minutes from San Diego We usually bring our truck and between our tents (2) and the truck we can do 8. It's nice there's a little mini mart there (and I must add a Charthouse restaurant within walking distance, if the adults can leave the kids) and the beach is safe nice and clean. you may be able to cut down on some expensive things you think you might want to do, because the kids will just love the beach so much. Have fun

Campland On the Bay. It was so nice, my friends actually lived there for a year. It's clean, right by the water, there are all the facilities you need, and there are electric and gas hook-ups. Here's the website: http://www.campland.com/

Good luck, see you soon!
