Toledo has pleanty on hotels near the turnpike (especially on the exit before the exit for 20 and the exit for 75). For the most part the Ohio turnpike does have signs posted with hotel info. It does not post all of the hotel info though. Your best bet is to get off at the welcome to ohio rest stop and pick up the "traveling the Ohio turnpike brochure". I have that brochure at home somewhere and it has all of the exits shown on a map. You may also want to pick up a Toledo visiting map or some other tourist infor. If Toledo is farther than you wanted to go or not far enough you could try South Bend or Cleveland. One thing to note is that the turnpike goes through a lot of farmland in Ohio, so your best bets for a hotel are by Toledo, Sandusky, Elyria/Lorain, or Cleveland. The Ohio Turnpike also has a webpage:

Have a good trip.
