No but there is metered parking along there (which is far cheaper than a garage but also means you have to keep feeding the meters, and there's no guarantee you'll get a spot). I think all of the side streets in that area are resident-only parking. (Or maybe more meters). Taking the T (subway) is always a good option. If you park in the garage of one of the outer stations and then take the subway into the city it's far cheaper. (T station parking is a fraction the cost of downtown parking garages).

No, it's all metered parking, and it's fairly difficult to even find a spot then. If you're going after 8 though I think the meters are shut off. And then you could probably park a few hours before it is considered "overnight" and then you'd get towed. . . .

No. There is hardly anywhere in town that has free parking. There are garages, but they are expensive. Best bet is the T. Only 3.50 to park in most lots,but have to get there early as they fill up fast.

Use the Big Dig as a big underground parking lot.
