Does anyone know of some roads in London (near Leicester Square) where parking is free on a Saturday evening and also where it's not too difficult to find a space? The more roads I have to choose from the better. Many thanks.

I've visited most and I'd have to say that Sutton town centre is complete pants. Plus there is no where else in the Borough worth bothering with. Any other suggestions?

Hi everyone! I am moving South and am so far unfamiliar with the best areas to live in East London? There is a ton of places to rent in places like Bow and Bethnall Green and I was wondering which would be the better one for a young professional?

I have to go to England, next year, because I have a competition in English, so I will stay there 3 weeks. but I am really scared, because I heard that the british are very strict, and if your english is perfect they would say it's decent. well, is it true? My dream is to live there an to work there, but I am not sure will the british accept me.
P.S. If an British can answer me this question I would be very happy.

Let's say that I might come to London to work for one year or more.If I need to see a doctor for a flu for instance, what do I have to do?I mean, can I go to a whatever one and ask him/her to see me?Of course I know I have to pay but I just don't know how it works there.
Being from Italy I already know that emergencies are covered by my insurance. But I'm talking about minor problems.
Thank for your help.
