I want to travel to London in October for vacation, and I am making some research about flights, but I have noticed that there are several arrival airports to London. I'm a little confused, Heathrow, Luton, Gatwick... are they cities near London or places in London?

I will be studying in London here soon and I'm doing research on small hole in the wall places to eat, tour, look around, etc. to save as much money as possible but still get a great exp.

35 yr black male, I'm trying to visit all four in one 8 day trip, looking for a dirt cheap airfare and great hotel with dirt cheap price.
