Dog trained & very clean/well behaved. 1 adult is vegetarian. Would like 2 on-suite rooms. Close walking to dog area and tube into city. Have looked at 100"s B&Bs to date. Surely not all Londeners hate hounds!!!!!

Hello...
I can help you out here... my company, Hotel-Assist, offers hotels in London that you can book online.. out of the 100 or so we deal with there is just 1 that accepts pets, The Averard Hotel. Its a great little 2 star in the center of town.
As far as i know this is the only one.
Hope this helps

Do you need an extra bed? :)

That's a good question and one that you'll need to address directly with the establishment.

The Draycott Hotel is close by in Knightsbridge and the number is 0870 432 8601 - but rooms may cost you around 85 pounds per night.

The Langham Palace near Bond Street is 15 minutes walk to Hyde Park .... but is fairly exclusive. ( tel: 0870 432 8868 ).

Most hotels need to cater for tourists with pets - cats and dogs are not uncommon, so my best advice is , identify several hotels that you like, then give them a call before committing yourself to a booking.

I've given you some links to directories of hotels with prices in the Bayswater / Kensington / Marble Arch area ..... but dont forget most of the West End is close to Hyde Park

.... I hope the dog enjoys the break :)

I'm not sure whether you have come across Smooth Hound Systems http://www.smoothhound.co.uk/ but they have a lot of B&B's listed. Maybe you'll find one of these B&B's suitable.

They are few and far between but the few I did find are on these links.
