Transport for london's journeyplanner says that it will take 40 minutes on foot.
13-16 mintues on the tube (with one change)
and 26 minutes on the bus (one change and a short walk in the middle)

If you look it up on transportdirect.info and search for a car route, it gives you directions and says it's 1.7 miles. Of course, there might be a more direct route on foot but if not, that sounds as if it would be about 30-35 minutes, depending on how quickly you walk. Average adult walking speed is supposed to be about 3 miles an hour.

It's a hike. At least 30 minutes if you are walking with a purpose.
Spend a quid and take the tube!

I've walked it once after a party one night and I think it was about a 40 minute (but I had had a few to drink).

Apparently its 1.6 miles....
have a look at this website... www.walkit.com
its sooo useful for actually finding the best pedestrian routes around London- (and it tells you time/ calories burned/ CO2 avoided- should that float your boat!)
