I'm trying to think of something unusual to do in London in a couple of weekends time. Never been to Vinopolis - is it worth a visit?

Yes its good. Make a day of it and combine with lunch or a drink afterwards in the restaurant (Cantina), bar (Wine Wharf) or microbrewery/restaurant (Brew Wharf). Enjoy! If you go on a Friday or Saturday you can also look round Borough Market before or after.

I went there a few years ago and it was quite interesting. Its not over big but they have a lot of different wines and they do a presentation on how to taste wine. It can be a little expensive (well it is London) but its different and worth a visit. So enjoy your trip but dont guzzle too much or that jubilee line home will seem hazy!

Yes. It's something you wouldn't normally do and is different from what you would do on holiday. A tad expensive though.
