Is it a valentine's day advertising stunt? We're looking at it out of the window and wondering!

I'm going to be travelling through London and I've seen that one can either take the tube or the coach, but the times seem really long both ways. Are the websites I'm looking at drastically over-estimating or will it really take me at least an hour by coach or 2 by the tube? I would think that it is quicker to go underground than in the traffic. Also, which is easier to get to from Heathrow, Stansted or Luton? Thanks, Stefan

I mean a proper sit-down late-night cabaret show with assorted performers, drinks and food - like in Paris. Does London even have a club like this?

me and my family (2 adults, one child and a infant) need to get to london next friday, we don't have relatives there so we will either have to stay at a hotel or set off back home again on the same day at the end of the night (this all depends on how we travel, for eg, by air or train). Somebody please advice me on any good value package deals you maybe aware of or any advice on a car hire including a driver for the day?

I was in birmingham for 5 days working. I get payed in cash and had to take £350 pounds back with me on the coach. You guessed it. I left the bag on the coach. I've called the company and every number they gave me but no-one is chasing it up no matter how much I call. I've put a lost report on the companies website. I know it's my responsibiltiy, but I feel I should have had more suport on the night I originally called, someone could have checked then? Also, I was the last person off the coach, so either the driver stole it, or he didn't check his coach properly and someone else has! What can i do? Is there nothing? I feel so frustrated, its more than half a months rent!

It just seems to me that we the "British tax payer"are going to feel a little sore at the final cost of Coe`s free lunches.Again as like wembley we jumped in without thinking it out properly. In these days of expensive travel why should people from say Newcastle have to travel to that god forsaken corner of London to watch a football game, as for the olympics even are lottery money will not get them out of the poo," too much Tony Blair involvment" we all know what happens when he gets involved in owt as they say up north. I predict a **** up.

I'm going to London tomorrow to take lots of photo's for my art project. For what I am doing I need 24 images of exciting photo's of places or areas in London. I already have some of the obvious places such as London eye, Big ben, Piccaddily, London bridge and the tube etc. But can anyone out there think of some exciting not so obvious things to take photo's of?
