Don't know about Indian Restaurants but am sure there must be some, as to the rest of your question, yes.if you locate Coventry st (NW corner of Leicester Sq and then take the first right you should be in Wardour St walk up there China Town should be to your right and Oxford St is at the top of Wardour St. ( about 5-600 meters) you will hit oxford St mid way between Tottenham Ct Rd and Oxford st tube stations so you could take a #73 bus to the other end of Oxford St, don't forget your Oyster card.

Oxford Street is a really long street. You have a choice of Marble Arch, Bond Street, Oxford Circus & Tottenham Court Road Tube Stations. Yes Leicester square is close by as well China Town. In Soho you'll find all kinds of Restaurants...including Indian.

China town is around the back of Leicester Square. Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus are right next to each other and within walking distance of Covent Garden also good for shopping, eating and theatres. For Oxford Street, it's also within walking distance of Leicester Square but i would recommend getting the tube to Oxford Circus or Bond Street if you are unsure of directions.

Another way of getting around and sightseeing at the same time is one of those open top bus tours where you can hop on and hop off.

Enjoy your time in London, it's a fantastic city.

Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road are both tube stations on Oxford St - depends exactly where you're going. About a 10 minute walk from Leicester Square...

The great thing about London is that everything is really accessible by tube so there is loads to do so long as you are in the city itself. From Leicester Square you can walk to Covent Garden in about 5 minutes which is always nice, or get on a tube - is nice to do a boat trip on the Thames as it gives you a totally different perspective of London from the water. If youre around Oxford St, so many lovely bars, restaurants, cafes etc in Soho a short walk away, and there is a really nice buzz about the place round there too. Hope you have fun

They are all within walking distance of each other. I am quite sure that there is a Indian restaurant somewhere around. Especially along the side streets.

Hi there China Town is literally just behind leicester square, we can see it from our studio @ Capital Radio. There are plenty of oriental restaurants around leicester square and quite reasonably priced.
