So I'm flying to Florida, and I'm wondering if I can pack my make up and my 'travel kit' which carries my deodrant, toothpaste, toothbrush, face wash, shampoo and conditener. (The shampoo, conditoner, toothpaste, and deodrant are all mini.) And my face wash is under 16oz. So is this allowed to be in my luggage? It wouldn't be in my carry on tote, but just in my normal suite case.

O.K. to me it's common sense that two to a sleeping bag would be warmer. But I've a bet with a friend who says that one is warmer as that is the way sleeping bags are designed and body warmth doesn't play a factor. If you know for a fact which is warmer I would appreciate your answer.

I was given an African Grey this summer - in Egypt. It has nothing known in its medical history, but I would like to bring it to the UK. What measures do I have to take to be able to bring him over (quarantine [specific to which company?], vaccinations, paperwork etc.) and, more importantly, which is the best and/or cheapest way to bring him over?

I'm going on a trip next week. My medication isn't like life or death(insulin), but I need to take a few pills twice a day. I mean, I can put it in my check-in bag, I just wonder about the chances of my bag getting lost. I guess my question is how big of a pain in the butt is it to bring pills with you in your carry-on? Do you need to show prescriptions for all of them? And how likely is it, if I put my medication in my checked-in bag, that my bag then gets lost and I'm without my pills?

I am considering going on a short vacation around the second or third week of October. However, my destination would probably be somewhere outside of the United States. I do not have a passport. I understand that the expedited service takes three weeks. I doubt I'd be able to get one in time. Is there anyway I'd still be able to go?

I went to the Passport website and there was some mention of "If you do not have your passport but are traveling within the next seven days, please call ...." So does that mean it's doable? Has anyone done this?

It's not a huge deal, I could choose some US place to go instead or delay the trip until November or December.

Thanks in advance.

And---> I'm a US citizen...born here...and have a valid driver's license as well as any of the other forms of ID that I would need. The only thing I don't have, obviously, is a passport.

I only have a vague idea of my travel plans - the idea is to be spontaneous and follow my nose. What sort of visa do I need? Surely you don't need a different visa for every country you visit?
