I will be going to honduras soon and would like to no if it is possible/if im allowed to put a pistol purchased in honduras in my cargo bag under the plane and take it back into the united states. Please hurry up and answer.

Yes. keep the paperwork with it and of course, it has to be unloaded and in your checked baggage.

Make sure that its not loaded and the ammo isnt in the same bag. If your state requires any certification to purchase hand guns you should check before you go buying one out of the country. If you do purchase this make sure that the sale is documentated from a legal gun shop/dealer and that you have all the paperwork with you when you re-enter. Check with the airlines, review the homeland security web site about cargo and check with your local authorities. It's so much easier to be safe than sorry.
