is there a deserted part of tasmania and if so what would be smart to bring?

oh and one more thing .I can only use two normal (school sized)bookbags and there will be one other person with me.

The western side of Tasmania has few settlements and a great deal of wilderness. If you are going in there you will need everything - tent, sleeping bag, food, water, maps, compass, survival gear etc. People have died even in popular spots like Cradle Mountain/Lake St Clair when the weather changes.

The smartest thing to bring would be a GPS system to get the heck outta there! ;)
