I need a combination lock for tomorrow and I can't buy a new one bc i don't have time! I have one, but I don't remember the combination and the paper it was written on is lost! What should I do?????

If you need one to lock your luggage, do not do it. The security personal will break it open and ruin your lock. Also, if you have time to write this question on Yahoo! Answers, use your time more wisely and go buy one!

If you were issued the lock at your particular institution you can ask the administrator in charge of security. If your name is connected with the lock you were issued then the administrator will have a copy of the combination. Hope this helps.

One time I lost my combination number.
If it's your gym teacher, they probably have it stored somewhere. (beware, some teachers are tough and make you do pushups for it)
If it's your normal locker, your homeroom teacher has the combo. Or you can ask a janitor, they have a master key.
Remember, they always write down your combination in the beginning of the year!

u could hold to ur ear and go thru numbers waiting for a click and get the numbers and then trying the combos but i think that would be more time consuming then getting a new lock

You could try all the combinations one by one.This could take a couple of hours but it does eventually work.

there should be a key hole on the back of the lock,just find the key that came with the lock ,and, open it.

You do not have the time? Try asking the person who OWNS the item you are trying to unlock what the combo is.

Effectively, you don't have a lock. You'll just have to find time to buy one. That's why procrastinating is not good.

if its for skool or colledge ask your teacher but if its for ur own use....go to the shop u got it n tell them that u don't this n change the lock....lol...
