I haven't flown since the new security regulations. I know about everything I can take and can't take on board in my carry on bag, except vitamins. Can I take vitamins on board as long as they're in the bottles?

The USA is now a Police State and as soon as the government commits another 9/11 you'll know what communism is like. ID cards must be carried. Roadside checkpoints. Guns confiscated. People put into camps. www.prisonplanet.com www.natvan.com it's time to get your passports in order. Get all your finances in order and get the hell out of this country. You'll want to be clear of these shores by 2009 . Europe is looking better all the time and is a lot cheaper to live.

After spending a couple of months in the States I'm flying back to Europe (with Delta). I now have a box (in size about 10x20x15") filled with extra things that I bought or got during my stay. I am now trying to figure out the best way to get it to Europe. I could check it in as an extra bag on my flight (which would cost around $100 according to the Delta website) or ship it via mail.

I'll be traveling to Greece in April with my mom & had a couple of questions about this whole baggage thing. We'll be flying United from LAX to JFK and then 90 min later leaving from JFK to Athens on Olympic Airlines. How likely is it that United will transfer our baggage to Olympic? Is there a way to be guaranteed that this will happen, such as paying an extra fee?

If transferring is not possible, are we crazy to think we can pick up our checked bags & check them back in all in 90 minutes? I'm leaning towards 'no way is this possible' but thought I'd ask.

If this sounds impossible, I'll probably be asking another question about changing flights! :(

Any help is appreciated!

If you were stranded on an island for 6 months, and you knew that you were going to be stranded, and the water was safe to drink, what would you bring? You are allowed 4 big rubbermaid containers. (please don't provide links to camping lists, original ideas only) How much of each thing would you bring? ex: 15 bars of soap. 2 people are going to be stranded...

Where to start??!! They're useless! EasyJet 'claim' they didnt receive my claim form within 7 days so resent on the 8th day (fax). had a response saying they're 'unable' to process because of the t/f. wrote back to explain everything and got nasty letter about the montreal convention and how they were not admitting liability.
So then wrote to the Customer relations team to complain and for the second time ask for regulator details. got a response back saying that they will not compensate me for the damage they caused because of the t/f.
Nothing i've said seems to be getting through to them, i've explained everything yet they ignore this!
What can i do to get them to sort out the damage to my suitcase? how can i find out who regulates EasyJet and how can i get through to a decent customer service rep' who might just commnicate proffessionally and in proper english.
I would love to attach the letters just so everyone can see for themselves what rubbish customer service they provide
