I have made an appointment at the Philadelphia passport office for 3 days before I depart for mexico...Will they be able to give me a passport on the spot provided that I have all the necessary paperwork completed? How does the process at the agency work?

If you are at the Philadelphia Passport Office and not the POST Office. You will get your passport the same day you go in for your appointment. It may take a couple of hours to make but you will get it the same day.

I would not keep your hopes high if I were you. I directly went where the agency supposingly process it fast if you pay $ 150.00 for fast delivery . I recieved it less than a week , but it was invalid and missing pages. I didn't realize the mistakes the agency made when I got to Aruba - Aruba had to hold me hostage for 4 hours , cuz Aruba had to verify U.S and confirm valid info. I thought I was going to choke the securities there at Aruba, but after 4 hours of waiting in Aruba airport they let us in. I wish you luck with your passport.
