My biggest concern is my cat. I wouldn't like to drive and furniture is huge. How are animals treated on planes? as luggage? A 3 day car ride for cat would not be fun for anyone

I am traveling to Grand Cayman in July. I plan to arrive at the airport 3 hours before my flight. I do have a question about my luggage. I will have a connecting flight in Houston. I am flying on one airline, and that is Continental. My question is once I check my bags in my departing city, do I have to claim my bags and check in again at my connecting flight? I am praying that I don't have to do this because I only have 1 hour and 10 min. before my international flight.

i am applying for my first adult passport and i have heard that we have to send our passport renewals off at the same time because we are all included on the same previous passport. If i send my passport off by itself with my mothers old one (which i am included on as a child), will they send it back so my brother and mother can send away for theirs?

I'm heading to Thailand [Bangkok & Phuket] this week for a week on a business sponsored holiday.

I've read a lot on what women shouldn't wear in Thailand so as not to offend the Thais - ie. no shorts, tank tops or short skirts - but I'd like confirmation from people who have been there recently. Our accomodation is in luxury hotels, and I'd imagine there that these types of clothing are acceptable, but when we go out from the confines of the hotel what sort of clothes should I be wearing?

i have a large duffle bag full of personal belongings that would be better used at my home in the us instead of my home in the uk. i should have brought it with me last time i travelled but didn't think it would be necessary. i checked as many options online as i could think of (fedex, postal service, etc) but it all seems so expensive. i would really appreciate any helpful ideas, suggestions and/or links to other international shipping services.

I'm flying for the first time out of Charlotte to DC via US Airways. I'm not checking any luggage and want everything in my carry-on. I'm also taking a laptop and bag. I understand the liquids and gels have to be in quart size ziploc bag. What about prescriptions meds? Do they have to be in this ziploc bag? Razors? Toothbrushes? Hairbrushes? My digital camera, ac cords for camera and laptop? I'm just a newbie and want the security check to be quick and easy and I don't want to irriate the security with questions or look stupid cause I don't know what I'm doing.
