I seem to remember getting an emergency passport to France with only a day or two's notice. You must go to the passport agency itself with proof of your departure date. I think that it is possible to have a passport issued on the spot for an additional fee. Bring photos if you can. Start by calling the passport office nearest you.

Tomorrow? You are out of luck. If you contact the passport office nearest your home, you will be able to make an appointment to get a passport in a couple of days if you can demonstrate need.

Why in the world is your passport with a mortgage company?

Are you close to the mortage company to pick it up ?
if its in another state - you can contact a major airline and do counter to counter service . Basically that mortage company would go to the airport with your passport - put it on the next flight ( ususally carried by flight attendents ) and dropped off at your city airport at the check in counter - fee's range - but can be done - thats of course if fed ex doesnt work

i'm not sure where you are, but in Texas if you go to Houston after making passport photos for $10ish at Kinko's or elsewhere and spend the day waiting in a line, pay an extra $75ish, you can get a passport the same day. Just call the passport bureau in your state directly.

Your passport does not belong to the mortgage company. It belongs to the Government and it is issued to you. Only you can use it and only you are allowed to keep it. Anything or anyone else that has possession of it, is committing a felony.

This information is for U.S.A. citizens only.

Sorry - you're SOL. Especially since the new rules that you need a passport for Mexico and the Carribean. My friend submitted hers for renewal and it's taken a lot longer than ususal.

In the U.S., not at this late date. An expedited U.S. passport still takes at least two weeks to process. Sorry...

Contact your consulate or embassy. I don't think your chances are high though, sorry! Good luck ;-)
