Well, from experience, if you don't bring too much you will be sorry. I have been on several cruises and I am always like, darn it, I should have brought _____________. You will need to dress for dinner, they won't let you into the dining room if you are wearing your bathing suit, shorts, etc. You can wear jeans, but they have to look nice. There will be a formal night, so you will want to bring something for that, there is dancing, the casino, etc. Then there are the shore excusions, so you will want comfortable shoes and clothes, you can wear your swimsuit, but you might want to bring two or three so they can dry so you are not wearing the same thing. Bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, any toiletires you need, extra contact lenses if you wear them, prescription medication (be sure you get a written prescitiption from your doctor to carry with you and find out the local laws about medication, there have been too many instances where US citizens have been charged with drug trafficking because they had too many pills on them or didn't have the presciption on them to prove it was necessary) My general rule for packing is I lay everything out a week in advance and decide what to wear to get on the ship, what to wear to dinner that night and then do the same for every day of the cruise. You won't have access to laundry facilities so if you want to wash your clothes in the sink, bring some laundry detergent, or else just pack enough you won't have to wash anything. Bring extra socks, undies, etc and then throw in a beach cover up or something and some extra t shirts so you can be comfy.

I know what you mean, I've overpacked and hated carrying all that around. I would take a few t-shirts- and let's say you use one in the morning but you are in the sun with suntan lotion I would change in the afternoon. You could take 1 bathing suit,1 pair of jeans, two pairs of shorts, shoes for on deck (around the pool and such), another for later and if you're going to be dressing up for the evening, another. If you are going to get dressed up I'd say take a couple of outfits. Take a small thing of laundry detergent to wash your clothes(unless they have all that). Gosh, it already seems like too much. Analyze what you will be doing on board.
QUESTION- I see someone else won a cruise, did you guys have to pay something or did you really win the whole thing?

i anticipate you're happening the sensation, leaving on Sunday. i think of Carnival cruises are super. no count who you flow with, anticipate super nutrition, own provider, super shows, and being pampered on your coronary heart's content textile. My popular area of the cruise became into the trip back to Florida. I enjoyed status up on the acceptable deck in front of the mini golf on the fantasy. The deliver became into vacationing gradual sufficient that wind became into no longer a concern. It became into calm, quiet, and you have been separated from the noise of the deliver. i'm no longer genuine extremely joyful with Nassau. that's an argument of been there, performed that. confirm you flow to the Atlantis motel. that's a could desire to work out. don't get a excursion on the pier as quickly as you flow away the deliver. an excellent sort of the information superhighway sites may well be reached via walking. and there's a water taxi to the Atlantis this is lots greater low-priced. yet another element to work out is the straw marketplace. that's variety of a flea marketplace on steroids. in case you opt to purchase something there, confirm you barter. do no longer pay comprehensive value.

Bathing suits and coverup
Casual wear (shorts, capris, etc.)
At least one formal outfit (for the dining room)
Sunscreen, hat(s), sunglasses
Light jacket for evenings out and on deck
Blow dryer (not all ships have these in the rooms, so if you don't bring one, you might have to rent one)
Big purse/bag for souvenir shopping
Purel hand sanitizer for when you've gone through the flea markets etc. and then go to eat
Comfortable shoes for sightseeing, as well as sandals and flipflops
Dramamine just in case you're motion sick and don't know it yet
I'm sure there's more, but that should get you started!

Suntan lotion, bathing suit, shorts/capris, a casual dress for dinner, tee-shirts, workout clothing (if you plan to workout on the ships gym), tennis shoes and socks (for walking around the island), tolietries. The cruiseline's website will generally have suggestions on what to pack. However, I have noticed people are still a little more casual than what the cruiseline recommends. Just be prepared to look a little nicer for dinner than the rest of your day.

Bring your little black dress, your bathing suit, your coverup, a pair of shorts, a pair of pants and three or four shirts, as well as underwear. Make sure the pants and shorts all go with any of the shirts so you can mix and match. I recommend a pair of nice pants, not jeans, and bring accessories to change the appearance of the black dress, since you'll probably wear it to dinner every night.

All you need is underwear. make-up, beach wear: bathing suits, cover up, casual outfits, and 1 dressy outfit. Don't bring too much. You can buy clothes on the ship or in the islands if necessary, but you won't have to. It's very casual on the ship and in the islands.
