Can anyone tell me of a website that tells me what I can pack in my luggage and what I can't. I'm fly in a few days and I really need to know so that I don't have a boo boo at security. Thanks

Oh and I'm not flying out of the US or anything I didn't know if that mattered or anything.

The biggest thing is that you can't have liquids, gels, or aresols in your CARRY-ON luggage. If you're going to have checked baggage, place anything that's a liquid, gel or aresol in your CHECKED baggage.

If you are unable or unwilling to do this, the TSA makes small exceptions, but it's a pain. You have to get a one-quart Ziploc bag (one quart, not one gallon or any other size). You can put containers of gels and liquids up to 3 oz. in that bag. You zip it up and when you get to security, you have to take that bag out of your carryon and send it through separately on the belt.

Doesn't seem so bad, but you also have to comply with all the other regulations...you have to remove your outermost garment (coat) as well as your shoes, and if you have a laptop, it has to come out of your carryon separately as well. That's why I recommend checking all your liquids gels and aresols in your checked luggage.

I haven't checked the above link (the TSA) one, but they are probably right. I just wanted to add that most airlines have details on their sites of what you can and can't take, or if not will point you in the right direction of where you can find out.

So check the site of the airline you are flying with, if the above links don't help anyway!
