the smallest one... I'd say a 30 to 40 litre bag would be good for only 2 weeks or 3 weeks...
remember, you'll have to carry it around, up stairways...

If you watch the Amazing Race.. thats a good size bag to get..We got our backpacks at Academy Sports... they are bright yellow (which stands out in a crowd and at the airport- good thing to look for) Don't fill the bckpack when you go; You will want room for things to buy. I have bought a bag on every trip to Europe. There are laundrymats and its fairly inexpensive to do your laundry. My sis and I went backpacking for 3 weeks and we did laundry about once a week. I had 2 jeans, 6 (or so) shirts, a swearshirt to throw on when it got chilly and a pair of shorts... which I needed during the summer. I made sure that I brought more socks and panties than anything else, but you don't need to bring 15 pairs.. Also, if you find that you need something, you can buy it there... and most of the time it is about the same price as it is here. Go and have fun... don't worry there will always be someone at your hostel that will smell and look worse than you! HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About three days into a trip I ALWAYS find that I have taken too much stuff with me. If you are just out to have fun and relax, take the bare minimum! You can get by with one pair of pants, one pair of shorts, two t-shirts, one warm jacket/sweatshirt, one long-sleeved shirt, one pair of sandals, and one pair of shoes. If you plan on hand-washing underwear and socks, just bring four or five of each and some good-smelling detergent. This may sound totally disgusting to you, but believe me when I tell you that you will be so happy to only have 20 or 25 pounds on your back as opposed to 50!

hmm... Well I'd say pack at least 3 pair of pants and 7 shirts (incase you get rained on and a shirt and pair of pants doesn't dry, ect. Happened to me lol!). underwear for every day, and two pairs of shoes (an extra for rain ect). If that all will fit the backpack is perfect : )
Hope this helped!

Try to dress as confortable as u can. Europeans use to travel with very few clothes, cause they r not interested in showing off, just travel. Just basics: confortable tennis shoes, formal shoes if you are gonna use them in some special ocassion.
