I used to be an agent for Ryder, which is now Budget.
The best thing you can do is call the 800 numbers for each and find out what size truck you'll need, when you're moving, if you'll be towing a car you'll need a car carrier or a tow dolly.
Most times the people at the toll free numbers will give you a good deal, better than the local dealer. they'll also be able to let you know where the closest dealer is to where you live.
Rates change often depending on time of the month or year, of if they have trucks in Mississippi or weather they need trucks in Texas. If they need them in Texas, you could get a very low price.
Good Luck.

We moved from Texas to Missississppi and then back to Texas (AMEN!) and every time we moved we used U-haul. Make sure that there are no hidden fees and make sure that when you drop off the rental, the person there does not try to charge you any extra things (that happens alot and most people don't notice) Good luck on the move! You will actually be able to watch the sunset now!

It changes all the time. Check online and make sure that there is no extra charge for leaving the trailer or truck in another state.

Depending on the season and location, they are pretty much competitve. Another option is to try Penske, Enterprise, and Hertz rentals, too. These will give you more options to choose from.

OMG!!! It sounds bad enough when we say it, PLEASE don't type it. " We are fixing to move" Budget is cheaper.
