If you were stranded on an island for 6 months, and you knew that you were going to be stranded, and the water was safe to drink, what would you bring? You are allowed 4 big rubbermaid containers. (please don't provide links to camping lists, original ideas only) How much of each thing would you bring? ex: 15 bars of soap. 2 people are going to be stranded...

The 1st container would be equipped with building materials. Such as knifes, hatchets, a sharpening stone, nails, hammers, wood glue, etc. It would also have some weaponry for hunting, with ammo and fishing rods.

The 2nd container would be a very well supplied medical kit. Everything that i could think of and fit in it, would be in it. You have no way of knowing what sicknesses and such are on this island. Chances are, one of you will get injured at some point. Medicines would be great to have in those emergency situations.

The 3rd container would have clothing. 3 sets of sturdy shoes for each person. A bedroll for each person. Then the rest would be stuffed with extra clothing.

The 4th container would contain a basic 72 hour kits worth of extras. Food bars, soap, disinfectant, soap, plastic tarp, tent, etc. All the things that would become luxuries.
