I am American, and I saw a video that was making fun of those select few that couldn't.

So prove them wrong.

I have two weeks in scnadanavia. I am planning on starrting my trip in Sweden where I will be staying with some family, but I am looking for some fun things to do (nightlife, cool stuff to see, concerts, etc...). I would like to possibly travel to Norway, Finland, or Denmark as well. I am also trying to find cheap travel to other places in Europe. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

hi there...coming from the UK on a Mini Cruise to Amsterdam...we sail from Newcastle...and basically two nights on board the Ferry...then 5/6 hours (weather permitting) in Amsterdam itself..!!
I have done this before but with an ex girlfriend, and we did all the adult things, that Amsterdam has to offer....but obviously with an 8 yr old it will have to be different...

Can anybody help/guide me as to what i could do..??

I have heard the zoo is good..but with limited time, dont want to waste any time...
what about department stores that have some good toy departments..??
Any soft play areas..??
Never did a cruise along the canals..?? so maybe might do one of them...can anybody recommend a good company..?? or shall i just head for the tourist info place..??

Thanks

Michael

I am curious to know how long a train ride would be between Paris and Vienna as well as Rome and Vienna. Is there a site where I can find out how long these rides would be? Or does anyone happen to know how long it would take between the cities listed above?

Well, my dad was playing basketball with this guy I like, and my dad won the game flawlessly (right in front of me). Would a Turkish guy feel like a coward because of this? Would he be disinterested in me, because he knows my dad is pretty tough and may not approve of him?

Hi, I would like to learn more on the facial expressions, gestures and hand signs of the Greeks before I embark on my journey (Athens, Santorini, Mykonos & Ios Islands).

I do not want to make a wrong gesture or show a wrong facial expression while holidaying.

Is there anything I should learn before my trip?

Many thanks in advance :)

What's it like living in Iceland compared to the states? I am young, only 19, but like many Americans I'm sort of getting sick of the country.

My main concerns are the financial and commercial issues of living in Iceland. The country is very small and I don't know how hard it is to run a business or stay employed up there. My dream would be to live in a small home outside of the capital where I could freelance my design work or create a small firm. Do you think a graphic artist could survive there? I mean, if I have very strong talent the large American companies would still be willing to hire me despite the distance...right? I wonder how expensive it is to have the currencies converted to Icelandic... Plus, what is it like commercially up there? Reyjavik (not sure if I spelled that right) seems so small from the pictures that I find it hard to believe I could find an Apple store or something resembling a K-Mart. What about TV?

Fill me in on life in Iceland.

Appreciate it!

A friend of mine told me that people in these countries don't like Americans. They target people with white sneakers, whom they think are American travelers because it's not the way Western European people dress. And in the restaruants, waiters judge you by the way you dress to provide services. Is that true? What do you know about this? Any advise?
