Let us try ( again ) to make Greek section a place where everybody is welcome. Let us make new friends and bring more people here. Try to forget personal fights and start asking/answering with dignity. And knowledge. And humor.
I think it is worth to try.
What is your opinion ?

We are looking for a beautiful and romantic place to spend the Christmas period. Something traditional perhaps rather than mainstream, however please suggest any city or village that you think it would be romantic. It would be also good if there is chance for us to experience snow during that period. Thank you,

The reason I ask this question is because certain individuals continually propagate propaganda about the Republic of Turkey and comment on issues they have no idea about. First and foremost is article 301 of the Penal Code (Now do not get me wrong here I am not a supporter of that section and can go into detailled reasons as to why not but that is not my purpose in asking this question). Most individuals that criticise section 301 have no idea about how the Turkish Legal system works, the intention, reasoning and mechanics of section 301. I would like to hear your opinions and knowledge about section 301 and how it works or does not work. I give you a real life example of a Case in point,

Perihan Mağden (born 1960) is a Turkish writer of prose and poetry and is a columnist for the newspaper Radikal. She was tried and acquitted on July 27th 2006 in Turkey for calling for opening the possibility of conscientious objection to mandatory military service in that country.

I am going to be going to Great Britain (England and Scotland) and Ireland with a group and France (about 90% sure) for independent travel and I read somewhere that it would be safer and a better exchange rate if i took out enough euros to keep me over for some travel and souveneirs and just use my credit card if a store can take it or use my credit card to take out money at an atm because they have no fees. The only thing I'm afraid of is I would take out about 300 euros, but how would i keep it on me... its so much and England is supposed to have bad pickpockers. I know this may be shallow, but I dont want to get those tourist "purses" that hang around your neck and you can tuck it into your shirt... but ehh.

Also I dont want to keep asking the group if I can keep going to an atm so please from experience preferabbly.. give me some help :]

I'm not a religious person. He lived most of his life in the US and is a successful business man here, and we've been together for 2 1/2 years now. he never asked me this question before untill now and it feels like a requirement. Is he asking me to do this so I can be accepted by his family and friends? I will be going to Turkey in December to visit his family.
*no offense to anyone just wondering.

the only reasonable answer i read said that it is because the British pound is stronger than the euro but i still don't understand exactly WHYYYY??
could anyone explain this to me? (economically and neutrally)

thanks, by the way, i think england rocks

could you explain why? a lot of people seem to consider it to be in central Europe, while it has quite clearly an orientation towards the north, opening itself on the north sea and Baltic seas... central Europe would be much more central in a N/S opposition as much as E/W, such as Austria or Hungary.

Since decades ago I remember reading about this. Someone in my family who is old now, always kept on saying she knew which country it would be. I myself was concerned with many other interesting Bible prophecies, stories, etc. Although very aged this person still wonders about it, and says "When Israel is sorrounded by these people, that's when Jesus Christ comes back?"

What do you think of Gog and Magog? Which is that huge army which will be invading Israel? And do you know that according to the Bible, God himself will be fighting them?
