The Armenian Lobby in the US spent Millions upon Millions of Dollars in buying US Congressmen and Women who promised to pass the fallacious Genocide resolution, the Foriegn Affairs Committee passed the resolution opening the path for a full vote in Congress. However, when push came to shove 11 Co Sponors have withdrawn their support and it looks like if it was voted on the Resolution HR 106 would NOT pass Congress. Have a look at this link and I will also post up another article my question is was the money the Armenians spent worth it ?

I need ideas... The money chasers gave up green land again. And today I watched an interview on tv. The minister was telling how harmless the gold diggers will be. This government has told so many lies that I find it hard to believe. Can you point to me some web site that shows gold digging can really be harmless?

These people need public pressure again to be directed to the right way. NGOs are preparing for a big demonstration. What else can be done?

My son loves to collect coins but he wants the circulation coins.
Like when I went to Canada I brought him back all the coins they had in circulation. A gift that cost me less than $5.00 and one that he loved better than anything else.

I don't want to do ebay because I don't want to pay shipping for each coin.

Would someone from another country consider swapping sets of coins or letting me pay them via paypal for what's in circulation over there?

I'm going to Greece soon and didn't know if women there did the "natural" look like they do in France or a more modern approach as American's do.

I'm not here looking for trouble. I am American, my parents are both born in the US, my grandparents come from Turkey-after the Armenian Genocide, so I'm 2nd generation Armenian-American.

Growing up I lived in a non-Armenian area, just regular Americans, ironically at the age of 12 I made best friends with a girl who was Turkish- American, we ended our friendship but had nothing to do with her being Turkish- we just faded as friends. She even dated my brother.
I have friends who are Turkish as well, they wont discuss the Genocide with me at all. But were still friends.

So my question is Do Turkish people recognize there was an Armenian Genocide?
Do Turkish-Americans do?

And why do some Turks deny there was a genocide?

Thanks/

A friends question made me think again. Russia has a military base in Armenia, but there are 350,000+ Armenians in USA. USA wants to have Azerbeycan as an ally, but Armenia occupies Azeri land and massacres thousands. USA wants Turkey to remain an ally, but diaspora Armenians cause a rift between USA and Turkey to open.

I am confused. Whose friend is Armenia and Armenians? (Other than themselves, of course.)

Turkish genocide resolution? Are you kidding me? The completely ineffectual morons in congress are trying to politicize any damn thing they can. Are they going to pass a resolution that we -the Americans - committed genocide against the Native Americans when we stole this country from them? The Turkish people are our closest ally in the Islamic world and a member of NATO. For political standpoint we are going to ruin that relationship? While they are rearranging the deck chairs our beautiful ship of state is sinking.

Because we should talk about the genocide LIES! :DDD

And the question is, do diaspora Armenians feel threatened that the bill is losing support in US Parliament? Do they expect us to shut up to prevent that?
