The "1915 happenings" reality is 300,000 Armenians and at least as many Turks died in civil strife when Armenians took up arms for independence in eastern Anatolia during World War I and sided with Russian troops invading the crumbling Ottoman Empire.

ararat:

1. You know what I mean, and I know what you mean... What you try to say is NOT true..

2. We will not be required to excuse, never... This is a real truth, expectations will be harmful for your psychology.

3. That resolution is only as correct as armenian history books. You have logical mistake on last sentences of item 3, think more please..

4. We have no problems with both, Georgia and Iran. Your development is not our problem. Opening border conditions stated already. If it bothers you, please start thinking...

If there was one, you would be able to find... I believe there isn't..

We, as Turks do not need to learn about homeland. Those information genetically transferred.

Turks is hanorable nation, you cant show any evidence, stop bluffing please, but what armenians did in Azarbeijan in 1990s has been know by all word.

Thanks. I could sign my name under that letter.

"Follow the evidence," say the writer. Unfortunately, diaspora understands it as "Follow the money." Sad, really. They are only hurting Armenia.

Edit: So, the new accusation is "landlocking" Armenia. Is this the start of a wave of new accusations, where Turkey becomes the perpetrator of geography? Do these people understand that accusing Turkey of "landlocking" Armenia actually prooves that Armenia is only in for a larger Armenia, i.e. land, not the truth? Oh, I adore these people. They confess their conspiracies so easily.

Spend your money on your own people! Not silly ideals! Or ghouls will come to get you! Boo!

I'll answer instead of Alana
1. Yeah, your ancestors painted each inch of the land you possess now with the blood of Armenians and other nations.
2. There was sin and your country keeps adding more to it, and it it getting harder to gain excuse with every day of denial and hatred.
3. Yeah, resolution probably won't pass this time as well, but that doesn't mean what is written in that resolution is wrong. US just don't want to make furious your government and nation, because it knows how unadequate thier actions can be sometimes.
4. I know why the borders are closed; to not let Armenia to develop and decrease its options. Sure your dream and you are working hard on that direction to make Georgia do the same. Fortunately for us there is also Iran, which is hopefully won't betray us just to solve problems with Kurds becoming an ally with Turkey in this question.

Regarding the letter, I believe there are similar letters written by Armenians calling for you, but besides what we've been taught and fed with our blood since childhood there is also matters of common sense and there are evidences in other countries. Have you really sincerely studied them?

I read that, and I saw he has much more wrong picture of Armenians than he says we have in mind of Turks.

He says "Armenians helped Russians" but he doesn't say that Armenians helped Turks in 1908 revolution, in which Young Turks gained power, and Armenians and other Christians waiting for the promised reforms from many years ago.
Then, what was their answer to Armenians who trusted them?
The horrible massacre of Adana in 1909, with 30,000 people dead... This was their answer to people who trusted and helped them.
So, Armenians being hopeless of Turkish reforms wouldn't help Russians...?!
Would it be logical if they trusted Turkish government again...?!
