I don't go clubbing. To hang around, I go to a tea house by the Bosphorus. My new favorite is Mihrabat on Kanlıca hills. Excellent view and good service. You can't find alcohol, though.
I like the Adalar trips if I have the opportunity.
I would recommend Sapanca and surrounding villages for a longer trip. I was there last weekend. I took a nap in a hammock, under the trees, listening to a stream, feeling the light breeze and smelling the forest, under the stupor of a bottle of beer. I didn't know they had built such nice places in so near a place.

I love Su Ada in the summertime. Being the Istanbul Asian sider I am, I also love going out to the bars and clubs in KalamıŠalong the bay.

but i don't live in istanbul
so i cannot really give any place's name there
