Do not plan to bring something in particular, look around once there and bring something you like.
If you buy in the souvenir shops you will bring the same as everybody else, if you keep your eyes open all the time you might find things that are much better.
Like a mug with 'best dad in the world' in Swedish.
Or a key fob with the name of one of your friends and an explanation, which he of she will not be able to read.

Postcards are always nice to bring, but you will find that most people do not buy things for each of their friends. No way to carry all, and very expensive, and most of the things you will bring are not worth what they cost in the first place.

Best only buy something for the people who are really special for you.

Of couse it depends on what your friends like but I usually bring something edible from Sweden.

You can find eg...
- jam (cloudberry, lingonberry)
- meat snacks (raindeer beef jerky)
- locally made honey (eg lingon berry honey - very dark)
- local chocolate (Marabou, or handmade one from "Åre"-chocolate dipped thin-crisp-bread)
- cod caviar paste in tube (tasty with boiled eggs)
- coffee (much stronger than american ones)

Other shops I also like are "designtorget" - they have quite a lot of nice small designed stuff, many of them made by local artists; "Ordning och reda" (paper stuff, nice notes etc);
