Hi, my fiance has to go to Frankfurt for a conference and she wants me to go for the 3 days. Is there much to see and do?? I have been to Berlin and really enjoyed the city. I am due to go at the end of August so I reckon the weather will be good!

Yes, depending on what you like to do. They have a town of just bars and clubs called Sachsenhausen. Great place to Party. There is sure to be some festivals during the summer. It will be crowded because the tourists all go during the summer.

Frankfurt is worth a visit , there is the zoo , there are museums and the "Roemer" (the old town hall) , many historical sites and there is Sachsenhausen on the south side of the river with many good pubs where they serve Aeppelwoi (cider) and "Handkaes mit Musik" , a local strong cheese with vinegar and onions .
