I am American, and I saw a video that was making fun of those select few that couldn't.

So prove them wrong.

That's pretty stupid to do here over the internet. Anyone can sit at home and look at a map and type in the answer.

Without looking at a map:

Portugal, Spain, Monaco, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Liechtenstein, Italy, Vatican City, Great Britain, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, Albania, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Croatia, Turkey (Istanbul is technically in Europe), Greece

With a map:
Andorra, San Marino, Slovenia, Macedonia, Bulgaria
Ireland (keep thinking of it as part of Great Britain)
Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania
a small chunk of Russia
Belarus, Ukraine, and Moldova
Bosnia & Herzegovina are one country (so far) not two

Although I starred you question by mistake, I still can not see the point of the question. You are trying to prove that Americans know the Europe and the World in general?
A small percentage of them may do know but if I judge by your funny President who still doesn't know where is front and where is back, most don't know and they dont bother to learn.
What is more, about half of US population comes from this damn continent and although some are only second generation they don't know their father's land.
I don't know all the States, and I have no motivation to learn them since apart from a few relatives there I have not connection to make me want too. However, on an off-hand count, I think I can name 20-25 .
