I will be traveling to Europe next summer and plan on visiting about 9 or 10 cities all over Europe in a 2 month span. I plan on getting the Eurorail pass, however, a friend said they think that I have to buy tickets in addition to the eurorail pass. If that is the case, is it even worth paying the 1000-1300 bucks for it?!?!?! On average, how much more will I have to pay? I'm still a little confused as to how it works exactly, so any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance :)

I'm starting to do research on possibly buying a small apartment home in one of these two places. Ever since I was a small girl, I have dreamed of living in Paris, but just recently I fell in love with London. I have been to both places, and think I could handle the move. I don't speak the language, but i know I could pick it up pretty quickly as I did take 2 years of French in high school (which would cover Paris). My lease is up in my current place here in Atlanta in June of 2008 so I still have some time to think about it. Any suggestions? I'm 31, so i'm old enough to do this on my own without any parental involvement...thanks.

If you can't get it on TV, you can also find it on the net on www.bbcworld.com! I like that program very much as they discuss different topics every Sunday! Use your Y/A name if you participate, so we can all have fun! Have a nice Sunday!

Any single travelers that would like to do historic touring(Italy) instead of beaches? Okay maybe a day at the beach but I want some history touring(Italy). My friends want beaches and skiing.... Been there done that. I am single and want to travel but traveling alone is no fun and is more costly. What's out there for a single tourer?

I have a 7 hour layover in Amsterdam and was wondering if this is enough time to get out of the airport to see some things and get back in time for my next flight. I will be arriving a little before 6:00 am and my next flight departs at 1:00 pm. I'm mostly interested in the Anne Frank museum and the Van Gogh museum. Any advice or suggestions will be appreciated.

I'd like to take my 59 year old father to visit Europe next May and July. He has never been to Europe before and I would like to take him on a grand tour. One that covers Spain, France, Italy ect. He's in great shape so I'm sure he could handle a 3 to 4 week tour. Can anybody recommend a company? Or share some expeiences? Thanks!
