Ihave visited Turkey in all seasons. It depends on the place.Istanbul in winter is not so nice just for one reason. You must enjoy this wonderful city and if it rains you ll not walk so much as you should do..I did it with the cold and tythe rain, but i wish i had gone in spring in order to enjoy it more and more.
The coast of Turkey is wonderful even in the winter, and i prefere it in winter. The clima is soft, not hot, and there are not so many tourist, just turkish people who pass also their holidays during the religious celebrations of Turkey, and it is calm, with families, and a friendly atmosfere.
The best season is for me autumn, spring, you ll enjoy it more

Hi Lisa,

Talat is right ...
If you like sea, if you want to came Antalya (I mean South Region) , my advice on June...

On July and on August, so hot ...

If you want to see historic places, my advice is Istanbul and Bosphorus, everytime you can visit (Summer or Winter )

Choose one of them :-)

Regards and Cheers
