Bus is the cheapest, if not the most comfortable.
Eurolines is still the best for cheap and center of town to center of town.

I would personally travel Eurostar, the train!

I think the cheapest you'll find is the ferry. However, it takes an entire day to get to Dover by bus or train and transfer to the ferry to Calais and THEN take a bus or train into Paris. It's not worth the savings.

Instead I'd suggest taking the Eurostar. It's just 2.5 hours from London Waterloo to Paris Gar d'Nord. You can find some deals on the price if you book well ahead of your travel. Also, it leaves from central London and takes you to central Paris. You most likely won't have to contend with nearly as much local transport versus flying. Heathrow is about an hour from central London (or pay a premium train fare) and it's a similar situation from De Gaulle to downtown Paris.

Well it depends.
Eurostar= not as pricey as traveling by plane, and you get from the center of london to the center of paris.
You can also check on the internet the low cost companies. Sometimes it is very interesting to fly with them. The only bad side is that you will have to pay for the transportation to the airport and from. Btw, if you go to the Beauvais airport ''near'' paris, it is going to be quite expensive to get to Paris.

Eurostar is a good idea. However, I was able to find a BMI flight roundtrip, which was almost the same price - and it only took an hour from Heathrow to Paris. Good luck!
