Asia Pacific - January 2007

Okay, so maybe you'll think I'm crazy but I really want to pursue an acting career in Hong Kong. I've studied acting all my life and really love HK cinema and TVB. How hard would it be to pursue acting in HK/TVB? Do you need connections? Anyone know the process? Advice?

Keep in mind I'm vietnamese and also don't know a word of chinese but I'm going to start learning. Should I learn Mandarin or Cantonese? And how much would it cost to live in Hong Kong?

Again, you probably think I'm crazy but this has been my dream. Any advice/answers will help. Thanks!

I'm a Hotel Management college student and I'm supposed to have a five-month internship in the South East Asian region. Unfortunately, I have no idea where to begin.
