Taking a girl with you to Thailand is like taking sand to the beach. I assure you, unless you're the Hunchback of Notre Dame, you will have no problems meeting women in Bangkok, and especially in Pattaya. Believe me, a female "travel companion" will be nothing but dead weight!

Go at it alone. Don't just meet people on the internet to travel with. Once you get there you will meet people to travel with. I went alone in Asia for two months!! China, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. I almost always met up with other single females to travel with it was fun!

Unless you feel you'll be lonely, going alone will be fine. Thailand is a very safe place for lone women (I am one) and the locals are always happy to answers your questions or recommend someplace to visit or eat, etc. Also, when you see farang out doing something, feel free to ask if you can joint them. Most, if not all will welcome you. Enjoy your trip!
