I'm going to Kota Kinabalu on June and we're also going to KL but also planning to Singapore. Cheapest way to get to KL from Kota Kinabalu? Singapore from KL? Travel time? Fastest? People please give me details. Thanks

bus from KL (Puduraya Bus Terminal) to Singapore is defintely the cheapest but not the fastest, journey takes about 5 hours, if traffic is smooth. The fastest way is to drive car, takes about 3 hours to reach Singapore.
the only way to Kota Kinabalu is by plane, so maybe you can try air asia from KL. hope this helps, cheers

i suggest that you fly to Singapore from Kota Kinabalu, then take a bus to KL, though the southern part of Malaysia [ Johor ] is flooded but the express buses are using the highway, so you should be able to reach KL safely !
Anyway if you would to travel from KL to Singapore, get to Puduraya, looks for Transnational buses as these are the better maintained n more organized buses that should provide you a pleasant journey. Forget n ignore about the touts n insists that you buy your bus ticket from the counter, you may politely tell them off that you are going to collects you booked ticket from the counter in order not to offend them.
actually train would be a better choice [ as you would be able to enjoy the countryside scenery that never able to be seen on the road ] but due to the floods situation, just go for the bus ! Cheer !

Cheap yes but can't be faster than flying. Now with the flood situation in Johore I'd rather fly because you don't know what flood waters do to roads and rails.
