What is the name of the Israeli dance/rikudei am song (in Hebrew) that sounds like a brazilian techno song?

- lyrics at beginning of chorus sound like "od tir'i, od tir'i, od tir'i"
- Heard it played at the carmiel dance festival last week
- sounds a little like the italian soccer song (campione)

and who sings it?

Thanks!

Would it be a good idea for the Israeli government to encourage Palestinian emigration to other nations by paying them to do so?

And those who wish to stay instead get Israeli citizenship.

Do you think this is a good idea or not?

Many people think it is OK to be Anti Zionist.. But why??

That is like being Anti France or Anti America.. Just because you disagree with some of a states actions.. doesn't mean that you can be against a country. That is racist.

A lot of Israelis where born there, can what is wrong with them supporting their country

Both Autrailia and USA where founded on much worse ethnic clensing (Aborignes and Nativce Americans) than Israel but no one says that they don't have the right to exist now..
Why not the same with Israel..

Why not accept Isreal as an reality and work together towards improving the situation and human rights?

My new neighbours are also Jewish, but they are orthodox. Last night I was slightly bemused to find them banging in their mezuzah at five to midnight! Is this time significant for putting up a mezuzah???! Maybe I'm just being ignorant and don't know the rules governing this?

Your help is much appreciated.

My wife and I are considering a vacation there later this year, but are concerned about being turned away at the last minute due to my record from 7 years ago. Also thinking about making Aliyah in 24 months. Any insight would be appreciated!

If Iran has a nuclear reactor and it seems that an attack against Israel is imminent, should Israel make a pre-emptive strike, as with Iraq?

I keep seeing this stated and it goes against historical fact. BEFORE Israel was established in 1948, the Muslim world allied itself with Hitler during World War Two. The Muslim leaders publicly stated they wished to carry out the 'final solution' against the Jewish in the Middle East - just like Hitler was doing in Europe.

And again, BEFORE Israel was established, the Muslim world was producing and distributing rabidly racist material, not just against Jews but also against Christians.

Why do people keep denying this? It's historical, objective, verifiable FACT!

In the UK, many, many people, especially on the Left, swear earnestly that they 'love jews but hate Israel'. I think this is rubbish frankly.

If you are anti zionist, then you are denying the right of the Jews to their homeland, while at the same time not challenging the right of any other country on this planet to exist. If this isn't anti semitic, then what the hell is?

PLEASE NOTE: I'm not saying that to challenge Israeli policy or practice is anti semitic. I don't believe it is at all, IF you are well informed and know the facts.

Lately we have been hearing (quite a lot actualy) the Israeli government speaking of being ready to make "painful concessions" for the sake of peace... meaning they are willing to give back parts of the Golan heights to Syria and parts of the West Bank to a Palestinian future state.

Noting that the entirety of the Golan Heights and the entirety of the West Bank (together with east Jerusalem) belong to Syria and the Palestinians respectively...

Do you think that such an offer should be considered a concession made by Israel or is it Syria and Palestine who are being asked to make this concession to Israel by abandoning parts of their internationaly recognized territories?

How exactly do those who claim that Egypt won the war support this claim?
From my understanding of the following facts:
1. Egyptian casualties outnumbered Israeli casualties
2. By wars end, Israeli forces had crossed the Suez and stood 100 kilometers away from Cairo
3. The Egyptian third army was cut off and trapped in the desert with no food or water
4. The Soviet Union felt the need to intervene militarily on Egypt's behalf (they eventually backed down after the US threatened to join on Israel's side if they did)
5. Syria scrapped its planned counterattack after the ceasefire because it knew that Egypt could not afford to re-enter the war
I would say that Egypt lost the war without a doubt. I agree that it was not a humiliating defeat like 1967 was and that they did win the battles of the first day or two. However, that it wasn't a humiliating defeat and that Egypt won some battles does not make Egypt the victor. I'm seriously interested to understand the rationale.

Taking in consideration the following facts:
1- Israel is an exclusive Jewish state. Peace and open borders wilt full democracy and freedom of movment will definitely mean the loss of its jewish identity and majority. so moral and physical separation barriers are always needed.
2- The very concept of establishing the state of Israel was based on the notion of the persecuted Jew. to maintain the existence of the state of Israel this notion should be preserved through the creation of ennemities.
3- Israel believes in the expansionist theological idea and prophecy of recreating the Biblical Israel from the Nile to the Euphrates... Some Answerers even mentioned that openly in their Answer to this question http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AhaXd4MCioORzdjU9uLrUhLty6IX?qid=20070726080642AARZTby
4- Holding the non homogenious fabric of the Israeli community needs the rallying of the populace against an ennemy... even if it is an immaginary enemmy of minimal threat

What should be done about Israel?
Ever since Israel has existed, all it has brought is terrorism, bloodshed and killing to the people of Palestine. Its very existence, fact, is illegal and not justfied. Before Israel was set up by the Americans and the British, muslims and Jews lived happily and peacefully. (Remeber it was the Jewish extremist party that were attacking British troops not muslim extremists).
I want muslims and Jews to live peacefully together. Why should Israel exist however small it is when the land is owned by muslims. Muslims are in the majority. Nobody is saying jews cant live in Palestine. Whats more shocking is Israels existence was brought about by indescrimiate killing of women and children. So who are the real terrorists? Minor groups armed with nail rockets like Hezbullah or Israel who is "owned" by the Americans.

I switch on BBC News 24, CNN, ABC....
What do I see? More media propaganda
IM SICK AND TIRED OF IT ALL.....THE LIES.......
We need to act..

This is not a bi-partisan post. Pick one and explain. Answers will be chosen on basis of explanation not bias.
QUESTION: Recently I heard an explanation that there is no Palestine, since Palestine was just a Greek invention of a name for the Ancient Land of Israel, etc. But mostly the argument was about that Palestine can't exist b/c its just an old name for Israel. It said to look at it this way: Siam was an old name of Thailand, Persia was an old name of Iran, Burma was an old name for Myanmar. Similarly, Israel used to be called Canaan, the land of Israel ( eretz Israel in Hebrew) then Judea, then Palestine, then finally the modern day Israel. The question is: is Palestine a real country, or merely an old name for a country that was taken advantage of by the Arabs and do the modern day "Palestinians"( if we assume uncertainty) need to smell the roses and get on with their lives?
